Executive Seminar: Creating a Performance Development Culture

Creating a ‘Performance Development Culture’ in your organisation means knowing the difference between being a leader and being a manager. It is about focusing on the relationships you build with your staff and the culture you create within your organisation.

Dr Neil Carrington, Foundation National Director of the Leadership Centre for the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), will lead a seminar on "Creating a Performance Development Culture" on Tuesday, 3 March 2009 in Brisbane.

This executive seminar is designed for senior executives who want to generate a clear understanding of their current performance culture, the performance culture they would prefer, and how to powerfully move from one to the other. The day will be highly interactive, and will model a range of innovative processes which can be used with your own staff. The initial focus will be on the use of Senge and Kim’s Levels of Perspective tool to identify areas of highest organisational leverage. This will be matched with the research of John Kotter from Harvard to clarify where leadership energy must be focused.

This workshop will challenge you to reflect deeply about feedback and investing time in your most expensive organisational resource: the staff.

Each participant will leave with a clear action plan for their context, and a copy of a CD modelling tool to utilise with their staff.
