As the holiday season is upon us, I’d like to take this opportunity to convey our gratitude to all those who’ve been instrumental in making 2011 a fruitful year for the LH Martin Institute.

Thank you to all Master of Tertiary Education Management and Graduate Certificate of Quality Assurance students, and I congratulate those who completed their degree in 2011.

To all participants of our executive programs and short courses: thank you for your willingness to keep learning and the useful feedback you have given us about the courses you attended. We are using them to further improve our offerings.

To those who attended our events: thank you for participating in the debates, for contributing to discussions among peers and for actively engaging with the industry. Your involvement is certainly appreciated.

To all presenters, guest speakers, program facilitators and contributors: thank you for your time, dedication and contribution. You have made our programs, media and the tertiary education sector as a whole the richer by sharing your valuable experiences and expertise.

To our international colleagues: thank you for including us in your work and, conversely, for allowing us to count on you for our projects. Thereby, making this ever-shrinking world a truly collegial one.

To our ‘brains trust’ of Fellows, key institutional contacts, collaborative partners and members of the Advisory Board: thank you all for your guidance and your endorsement of our mission to further improve tertiary education leadership and management in Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

Finally, my utmost thanks to the Australian Government for its continuing support of the LH Martin Institute.
